Member Star Parties
TAAA Member star parties are an important part of the
astronomy scene, and are supported by TAAA volunteers. Members enjoy
fellowship and guidance from more experienced astronomers, having
opportunities to share views on member telescopes.
The TAAA generally holds two
star parties per month: one on the
dark-of-the-moon weekend at Las Cienegas; and, one before or after the new moon weekend at TIMPA.
TAAA star parties are open to members and their invited guests.
Visit Observing
Sites for information about dark sites used for TAAA member
star parties.

You don't need a telescope to participate in member
star parties. Fellow members are eager to share views from their
scopes!
