How to Join the TAAA

• Monthly lectures featuring speakers from the local Astronomical community.
• Monthly observing sessions, called "star parties", held at various dark sites away from Tucson's lights where you can observe the night sky alongside other members.
• Special Events, like parties, camp-outs, and public observing sessions.
• A membership packet which contains useful information that new members and beginners find valuable.
• The TAAA's monthly newsletter, "Desert Skies", filled with news and information about activities and items of interest.
• Discounts on subscriptions to Sky & Telescope and Astronomy magazines.
• Telescope making classes where you have the expert guidance of accomplished telescope makers.
• Informal sharing of ideas and information with 300 other members who are as excited about Astronomy as you are.

The membership application can be printed and mailed to us or brought to the next TAAA meeting. The current rates on on the application. The application can be viewed using the Adobe Reader format. You may already have this installed on your computer. If not, you need to install the reader in order to view the news letter this way. Only the current month will be available in PDF format.
