TAAA's Yahoo! Groups

The TAAA has established two Yahoo! groups for current TAAA members. The first is an Announcement list used to provide important notices to our members. Posting messages to this list is limited to TAAA officers and a few other designated individuals. Our second Yahoo group is a Member forum where members can post messages, images and files. We encourage all our members to join one or both of these groups. We also invite anyone with an interest in astronomy to join our association and participate in these groups and all of our activities.

TAAA Yahoo! Announcement List

Join this list for breaking TAAA news and other important announcements. This is a very low volume list, typically 4-10 messages per month. There are two ways to join. If you already have a Yahoo! Groups account, or would like to establish one, navigate directly to our Announcement Group. Joining the group via this method provides the greatest capabilities (e.g., customize preferences, download files, access old messages, etc.)

The second method to join is more limited, you will just receive announcement messages via email. To join this way simply send an email to tucsonastronomy-subscribe@yahoogroups.com. Please include your name in this email so we can identify you as a TAAA member. Also be sure you send this subscription message from the email account you want announcements delivered to.

Join this list to communicate with other TAAA members or just lurk and "listen" to what other members have to say. Our members use this list to discuss astronomy, arrange impromptu observing sessions, show off astro photos, briefly announce equipment they are selling, etc.. The volume of messages on this list is moderate, typically 10-40 messages per month. There are two ways to join. If you already have a Yahoo! Groups account, or would like to establish one, navigate directly to our Member Forum. Joining the group via this method provides the greatest capabilities (e.g., customize preferences, configure for individual or daily digest emails, download files, access old messages, etc.)

The second method to join is more limited; you just receive or send forum messages via email. To join this way, simply send an email to taaaforum-subscribe@yahoogroups.com. Please include your name in this email so we can identify you as a TAAA member. Also be sure you send this subscription message from the email account you want messages delivered to or sent from.
